Lunch Program
All Students must bring bag lunches for the first TWO WEEKS of school
A Hot Lunch Program of rotating menus is available to all of our students.
From the Kitchen:
Please take the time to read this notice – it does include some changes.
* A variety of chips, cookies and ice cream is available for sale during lunch periods for grades 1-8.
* Drink options included with hot lunches include white, chocolate or strawberry milk. Bottled water mayb be purchased as an extra drink for .50.
* Menu selections are subject to change according to availability.
* If there are specific food allergies please let the kitchen know – * Please refrain from ordering lunch on a day where there is the possibility of an allergic reaction.
* Forgotten lunches: in the event a parent cannot be reached to bring a lunch a hot lunch can be purchased for $3.50.
* The microwave is not for student use at any time. (Staff members are not able to warm student food before, during or after school)
* Please be aware that parents are to provide all paper products for class birthday parties. If room is needed in the fridge or freezer please let the kitchen know in advance.
* Lunch menus must be turned in by the assigned date clearly marked at the top of each menu. (Since food is ordered ahead of time no late orders can be accepted)
* Please be aware of any class filed trips, Doctor appointments, vacations, etc. This avoids ordering on a day when your student will not be eating at school – and also avoids any confusion in the kitchen.
All lunches must be ordered on a menu form and be received with payment
by the date due.
Extras such as chips, water & treats are also offered and may be purchased
on a day-to-day basis.
